G.I.JOE The Rise of Cobra Behind the Scenes (Custom Figure Comic)

Roadblock and Shipwreck are two iconic characters that would have helped make G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra a better movie. And while we can't add them to the movie, we can add their figures to our collection. Unfortunately, the ROC Shipwreck figure's deco followed that of the other movie figures...black and gray. And sadly, Roadblock wasn't even released. Luckily, with some paint and head-swapping, we can do both of these characters justice!

After being generally disappointed with the movie, and then reading Dennis Quaid's comment about wanting to see more action in the sequel; "I want to ride a horse and shoot a gun. I want a horse with an accelerator suit." I couldn't pass up doing something in response. I hope you enjoy it.

Until next time, I remain The Insidious One.

  1. Why did you cast Shawn Connery when Alan Tudyk makes such a good Shipwreck? Speaking of Alan Tudyk, when you going to start on my Firefly customs?

  2. I agree. I would have bought them, but I only buy the ninja stuff... which is why I purchase your Ultimate Snake Eyes. WHich is AWESOME. If you were to do some more ninjas, I'd be all over them. THat Kamakura, for instance...

  3. Adam - I've never seen an episode of Firefly but I'm very interested in getting up to speed. Do you have the DVDs I can borrow?

Jay - Thanks again for the props. I might be able to be persuaded to do another Kamakura, but I'd have to make him even better than the first. Drop me a line if you want to discuss a commission.
